ABOUT US…
This new arm of the Alliance of Coventry Theatre Societies (ACTS) is dedicated to strengthening the backbone of amateur theatre in Coventry and the wider region by offering a range of essential arts management and production services.
Building on ACTS’ longstanding dedication to developing local talent and encouraging collaboration among societies, this new initiative offers Production Management, General Management, and Producing Services (both Associate and Executive), all customised to meet the specific needs of amateur and community-led theatre.
Whether you're staging a play, musical, event, or workshop, we are here to assist with the practical, logistical, and strategic elements of your production. This allows your creative teams to concentrate on their strengths. Our support spans the entire production process, including scheduling, budgeting, contracting, compliance, and creative production.
Our aim is to professionalise the process while preserving the spirit of community theatre, ensuring that every show, regardless of scale, is set up for success.
Looking ahead, this new ACTS initiative will also examine wider aspects of arts management, such as attracting audiences, funding approaches, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of amateur theatre.

We are excited to continue our collaboration with Three Spires Guildhall as Associate Producers for their upcoming Cinderella production, scheduled at Warwick Arts Centre in 2026. This partnership highlights our commitment to delivering high-quality, large-scale theatre to regional audiences, marking another milestone in our ongoing relationship with TSG.

Production Management
Production management services involve planning and organising all the practical details needed to bring a show to life. This includes creating schedules, managing budgets, coordinating rehearsals, booking venues, arranging equipment, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during rehearsals and performances. The production manager helps the team stay on track and handles any issues so the creative team can focus on the show.
General Management
General Management services to help ensure that a production runs smoothly from start to finish. This includes handling budgets, schedules, venue coordination, and making sure the cast and crew have what they need. The general manager also deals with things like ticketing, promotion, and day-to-day problem solving, so the creative team can focus on putting on a great show.
Producing Services
Producing services, including Associate and Executive Producers, assist in bringing a project such as workshops, productions, or events to life by managing both the creative ideas and the practical work. Executive Producers focus on large-scale tasks like finding funding and making key decisions, while Associate Producers support the daily operations that keep the project organised and running smoothly. Together, they ensure everything stays on track, within budget, and aligned with the original vision.
Consultancy
Professional consultancy services offer expert advice and support to enhance your production or organisation. This may include guidance on planning, fundraising, marketing, technical setup, or team management. Consultants collaborate with you to find practical solutions that meet your needs and help ensure your theatre project’s success.
