The Welkin
Rural Suffolk, 1759. As the country waits for Halley's Comet, Sally Poppy is sentenced to hang for a heinous murder. When she claims to be pregnant, a jury of twelve matrons are taken from their housework to decide whether she's telling the truth, or simply trying to escape the noose.

Kinky Boots
Coventry Musical Theatre Society are back with the dazzling, fabulously sassy and uplifting Kinky Boots; strutting their stuff with sparkles, stilettos and a whole lot of heart.

Aladdin
Aladdin, a poor boy has dreams of Arabian nights, flying carpets and falling in love with a beautiful princess and in this traditional family pantomime you can expect all the above and more. Through his adventures he meets a suspicious and unpleasant Abanaza, a magical Genie and the Spirit of the ring.
Nativity! The Musical
Following on from our much-acclaimed May production of Barnum and the success of last November with Elf the Musical, YOG is back with another feel good festive favourite Nativity!

Festival Double Bill- Closer to God and Twinkle (2022)
The Criterion Theatre are thrilled to be presenting a double bill of plays which were taken to the heats of the National Drama Festival Association 2022 competition. This is a special one-off performance on Sunday 11th September starting at 5:30pm. There will be two intervals when the bar will be open.

Wait Until Dark
A sinister con man is about to meet his match. He has traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy.

Mary Stuart

Bring It On!
Loosely based on the early noughties Hollywood Hit of the same name, with music by Lin-Manuel Miranda(Encanto, Hamilton, In The Heights) and Tom Kitt (High Fidelity, Next to Normal) shines a light on the crazy world of competitive Cheerleading.

AMOUR
Step onto Stage is a theatre school based in Coventry which has been running for eight years, teaching in many disciplines of dance including Musical Theatre and Gymnastics. This will be the third time Step onto Stage has performed at the Royal Spa Centre, Leamington. As usual we have collaborated on many songs and music, from well known musicals as well as diving back into the past which are incorporated with pop/chart music along the way.

Macbeth
Macbeth and Banquo, generals in the service of King Duncan of Scotland, are returning victorious from battle when they are hailed by three witches who predict that Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor and then King of Scotland, whereas Banquo's descendants will be kings.

Midsummer
A midsummer weekend in Edinburgh. It's raining. Bob's a failing car salesman on the fringes of the city's underworld. Helena's a high-powered divorce lawyer with a taste for other people's husbands. She's totally out of his league; he's not her type at all. They absolutely should not sleep together. Which is, of course, why they do. A play where the two actors also play and sing original music in an extravaganza of playfulness, wit, colour, sound and song.

Prepare to Meet Thy Tomb
As night falls on Monument House Hotel and Alternative Health Spa, Hecuba Tomb and her niece Drusilla receive a series of unexpected visitors.

Peter Pan
The legend of Peter Pan has been delighting children and adults for over 100 years and this faithful new version is a magical adventure, perfect for the whole family.

The Little Mermaid (Wing-It)
Wing-It Theatre return to the Albany with a spectacular staged version of the 1989 animated Disney classic, The Little Mermaid.

Mr Bennet's Bride
A prequel to Jane Austen’s novel Pride and Prejudice, the play takes place twenty five years before the novel is set.

Two
TWO is hilarious, yet heart-breaking, and presents a slice of working-class life in a Northern local pub. With a constantly quarrelling landlord and landlady, and the dozen regulars pulling up a stool, all life is present in this pub. It is the heart of communities.

Open Arts Festival
A powerful 2-hour production by THROUGH THE ROOF THEATRE COMPANY with their latest musical arrangement of west end productions for you to tap your feet, clap your hands and perhaps, just maybe, pop out of your seat for a boogie.

Elf: The Musical
Coventry’s Youth Operetta Group is back doing what it does best with Elf: The Musical!
Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan, who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth.
With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to find his birth father and discover his new identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-sibling doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help them to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
