About Us
Wing-It Theatre is a youth based company who produce, 2 full scale sized musicals a year, giving its members the most all round professional experience. Wing-It Academy is a weekly musical theatre training for 9 - 18 years of age, of all abilities.
Wing-It Theatre was formed back in 2009 as a farewell for a group of friends heading off to stage school. The choice of show was a favourite for all, RENT! Many of the original cast trained professionally in London and went onto have fantastic careers. Wing It Theatre then evolved into our Summer and Easter projects providing a professional experience for the youth of Coventry. Last autumn 2018 saw Wing It Theatre expand to include Wing It Academy that studies musical theatre every Friday night. Wing it Academy, now 50+ students strong.
If you are interested in performing with Wing-It Theatre, keep a check on our socials for show updates and we will announce auditions for each show. We audition all cast members to enter the production with a small singing audition, followed by a movement call, before going into principal auditions.

Wing it Theatre are delighted to Present their 2025 Summer project, Andrew Lloyd Webbers feline masterpiece CATS !
Adapted from T.S Elliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, it remains one of the longest running West End and Broadway Shows by legendary creative team Gillian Lynne and Trevor Nunn.
Cats promises to be the Purrrrfect night out.
We have an intensive rehearsal period of 1.5 weeks before the show, as per professional practice, with extra rehearsals running up to the process if needed.
